Barry Bostwick’s theater credits include his Tony nominated performance as the original Danny Zuko in the iconic Grease on Broadway, a Tony nominated performance in They Knew What They Wanted and a win for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of The Robber Bridegroom, a role that he also originated at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Past films include Weekend at Bernie’s II, Spyhard, Some Guy who Kills People, Hannah Montana: The Movie, Evening Nancy Drew, Skulls III, Disney’s animated 101 Dalmatians Part 2, and the all-American role of Brad Majors in the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Previous television credits include roles on hit television shows such as “Scandal,” “Cougar Town,” “Ugly Betty,” “Law & Order: SVU,” CBS’ “The Great Indoors,” and Fox’s “New Girl.” Most recently he has been seen recurring on CMT’s “Still the King” with Billy Ray Cyrus and Bravo’s “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” and the “Big Fat Liar” sequel “Bigger Fatter Liar.” Upcoming projects to watch out for include the feature films Love by Drowning and Love Returns Home. Bostwick is an advocate for prostate cancer research and awareness, and received the Courage Award presented by President Clinton and the Gilda Radner Courage Award from the Roswell Institute in Buffalo, New York and the Brooklyn Hospital Foundation Award. He is also a skilled ceramicist and donates many pieces to charities around the country.
