Kelly Hu has appeared in more than 25 feature films, including her roles as Yuriko Oyama/Lady Deathstrike in the juggernaut "X-Men 2," as The Sorceress, opposite the Rock in "The Scorpion King," and as Sona in "Cradle to the Grave." Most recently, she starred as Dr. Andi Palmer in the family adventure film "F.R.E.D.I."
On the small screen, Hu starred in FOX’s “Martial Law,” was a series regular on two seasons of “Nash Bridges,” and has had recurring roles in numerous popular series, including “Arrow,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “Army Wives,” “CSI: NY,” “Hawaii Five-0” and “Warehouse 13,” among others. She has guest-starred in episodes of “Dietland,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Being Mary Jane,” “The 100,” “Castle” to name a few. She got her first break when she was cast as Kirk Cameron’s love interest on the hit show “Growing Pains.”
A busy voice actor, Hu has lent her voice to numerous animated series, including “Phineas and Ferb,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “Stretch Armstrong & the Flex Fighters,” “Tangled: The Series” and “Archer,” among others.
Hu was the first Asian American to be crowned Miss Teen USA (1985), and was crowned Miss Hawaii USA in 1993.
