Ali Skovbye began her acting career at four years old after being scouted for a national car commercial. Skovbye went directly into film and television the following year, starring in the feature film Personal Effects with Michelle Pfeiffer and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates. Skovbye was nominated for a Young Artist Award for “One Christmas Eve” with Anne Heche and won a Joey Award for her role in the television movie “Campfire Kiss.”

Skovbye starred alongside Chrissy Metz in Fox feature film Breakthrough, in 2019. The film is based on the true story of a teenager who drowns in a lake and miraculously wakes up after being dead for an hour. Skovbye was named ‘one-to-watch’ at the 2020 Whistler Film Festival for her work in the independent film The Corruption of Divine Providence, about a girl who is kidnapped from a small French-Canadian town.

Most recently Skovbye played teenage Tully (the older version is played by Katherine Heigel) in “Firefly Lane,” a smart, gorgeous, effortlessly cool wild child. In its first week the series shot to the top of the Nielson streaming list with over 1.31 billion minutes viewed and was the #1 show globally on Netflix.

Skovbye’s other television credits include the Lifetime television movie "His Perfect Obsession,” playing a blind teenager, “Supernatural” (CW), “Fringe” (FOX), “Smallville” (CW), “Once Upon a Time” (ABC), “Falling Skies” (TNT), and “The Man in the High Castle” (Amazon).
