Marc Blucas is well known to TV and feature film audiences alike, with big screen co-starring roles in the Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz starrer Knight and Day, alongside Eddie Murphy in Meet Dave, as James Bonham in The Alamo, and as 2nd Lt. Henry Herrick in We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson. With more than 30 films under his belt, Blucas appearances include Pleasantville, Eddie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, First Daughter, Red State and Animals.
On the small screen, Blucas starred as John Hawkes in the WGN TV series “Underground,” and opposite “Operation Christmas” co-star Tricia Helfer in the series “Killer Women.” He starred for three seasons as Matthew Donnally in the TV series “Necessary Roughness,” and starred as Riley Rinn in the long-running hit series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Blucas has guest-starred in episodes of numerous popular series as well, including “House M.D.,” “Notorious,” “Blue Bloods,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Arli$$,” “Castle” and “Clueless.” TV movies in which he has starred include “True Blue,” “See Kate Run” and “The 60’s,” among others.
Blucas played basketball throughout high school and received a full scholarship to Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. Following college, he played for the UK’s Manchester Giants, before giving himself over to acting full-time.
