Not afraid of taking risks, Rachel Blanchard plays a wide range of comedic and dramatic roles in both commercial and independent films and television. She got her start starring on such hit shows as "Are You Afraid of the Dark?," "7th Heaven," and "War of the Worlds." She also starred as Cher Horowitz in the role made famous by Alicia Silverstone in the television series based on the hit motion picture of the same name, "Clueless." 

More recently, Blanchard has had a recurring role in the BAFTA winning British comedy series "Peep Show" and a recurring role in the hit HBO series "Flight of the Concords." She's also had guest starring roles on "Flashpoint," "Psych," and the FX comedy "Legit." 

Blanchard starred opposite Colin Firth and Kevin Bacon in director Atom Egoyan's critically acclaimed film "Where the Truth Lies" and also appeared in "Mad Ship" opposite Nikolaj Lie Kaas, "Daydream Nation," "Without a Paddle," "Chasing Holden," "The Wild Dogs," and "Snakes on a Plane." Her other film roles include the TV movies "Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning," "The Case for Christmas," and last year's Lifetime movie "The Surrogacy Trap."
