Born in Toronto, Canada, and an actor since the age of six, Brittany Bristow began her career in numerous national commercials, television guest star appearances, television movies and feature films including Perfect Pie with Rachel McAdams and the MGM Christmas classic Blizzard, where she is one of the stars alongside Academy-Award winners Brenda Blethyn, Christopher Plummer and Whoopi Goldberg. At the age of twelve Bristow was accepted to the prestigious Canada’s National Ballet School. After graduation from the professional ballet program, she returned to her true passion of acting through intensive programs at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, various Toronto-based acting programs, the University of Toronto’s Specialist in Cinema-Studies program, and most notably studied with Larry Moss.

This year she will have her debut as a film writer on a project she co-wrote with her husband. Bristow has also made a name for herself in the independent film world in features such as Shadowtown.
Among her many film and television projects, Bristow is also a producer, co-creator and writer. She hosts “Wildlife Quest” for the National Geographic library and was the recipient of the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2017 CIFF Awards.
