Erica Cerra made her Hallmark Mystery debut in Mystery on Mistletoe Lane and is known for her versatility, charm, and on-screen presence. She voices Susan, the mother of the title character, in the latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid animated trilogy. Cerra was also a series regular on the sci-fi show The Astronauts, produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer, and has hadr ecurring roles on Wild Cards, Nancy Drew and Family Law alongside Victor Garber.
Her many television credits include The 100, Supernatural, Rush, Lucifer, Deadly Class, and TheL Word. She first gained widespread attention as Jo Lupo on the hit SyFy series Eureka, which ran for six seasons. In film, she has appeared in Power Rangers and Percy Jackson & theOlympians.
Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Cerra began acting at a young age, starting in commercials before moving into television. As a child, she appeared on the improv kids’ show Kidzone on Knowledge Network and later worked on the pilot No Adults Allowed. In her early twenties, she committed fully to acting and trained with Gina Chiarelli, Matthew Harrison, andLarry Moss.
Outside of acting, Cerra enjoys cooking and gardening and is a proud mother of two. She lives in Vancouver with her husband and children.
