The daughter of actor Efrem Zimbalist Jr., Stephanie Zimbalist studied acting and singing at the famous Julliard school in New York. Her stage career includes starring with Anthony Hopkins in The Tempest and with Tommy Tune in the 1982 touring company of My One and Only. She is best known for her role on the popular television show Remington Steele, on which she co-starred with future James Bond Pierce Brosnan.
She has appeared in many made-for-tv movies, including Forever, Elvis & the Beauty Queen, Agatha Christie's The Man in the Brown Suit, The Story Lady, Incident in a Small Town, Voices From Within and Prison of Secrets. Other television appearances include Family, The Love Boat, The Hitchhiker, Touched by an Angel, Diagnosis: Murder, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Family Law, V.I.P. and Nash Bridges.
