Tori Anderson was born in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to Vancouver Island, British Columbia when she was a year old. The second youngest from a family of five children, Anderson and her siblings grew up immersed in the arts and had lists upon lists of farm chores. Upon high school graduation she moved to Toronto and received a BFA from York University’s Acting Conservatory. From there, Anderson has continued to work in theatre, film and television.
Anderson is best known professionally from her starring role in The CW’s “No Tomorrow,” a much loved, though short lived, romantic comedy. Her most recent series credits include a series regular role on “NCIS” Hawai’i” and a season-long recurring role on NBC’s “Blindspot.” Other credits include a recurring roles on “Killjoys” for Syfy and “The L.A. Complex” for The CW; a series regular role on “The Other Kingdom” for Nickelodeon; a starring role in the TeenNick series “Open Heart” as well as guest roles in The CW’s “Reign.” Anderson has appeared in a variety of television movies including “Killing Daddy,” “The Mermaid Chair,” “To Have and to Hold” and “Cable Beach.” On stage Tori also portrayed Michelle Phillips in Dream a Little Dream at the Phoenix Theatre in Arizona and Viv in Habit at the Luminato Festival.
Hallmark viewers will know Anderson from her roles in the Hallmark Channel original movie “Love Under the Olive Tree” and “Return to Christmas Creek” for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
She currently resides in Toronto but manages to sneak away to the Vancouver and Los Angeles whenever she can manage. When Anderson isn't working, she enjoys making up new dance moves in a grocery store, baking and chasing after dogs at the dog park.
