Mía Maestro made her feature debut in Carlos Saura’s Tango, which earned Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for Best Foreign Film. Her other film credits include Walter Salles’ The Motorcycle Diaries opposite Gael Garcia Bernal, Julie Taymor’s acclaimed biopic Frida, Oliver Stone’s Savages opposite Benicio del Toro, Wolfgang Petersen’s Poseidon, Miramax’s Secuestro Express, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 & 2.

Maestro most recently starred in Domenico De Feudis’ anticipated Italian feature Il Legame (aka The Binding) for Netflix, produced by Academy Award winner Paolo Sorrentino. She is next set to star in the Chilean indie film The Cow Who Sang a Song About the Future, developed in the Sundance labs, and is additionally attached to star in After This Death to be directed by Lucio Castro in Q4 this year for Killer Films.

On television, Maestro recurs on FX’s hit series “Mayans M.C.” Other credits include FX’s hit series “The Strain,” created by Guillermo del Toro, and ABC’s “Alias” from J.J. Abrams, who created the role for Maestro after she auditioned for him for “Lost.”
