The series followed a criminal defense firm led by Lefevre’s character Madeline, who was wrongfully convicted of murder in a highly publicized case. Fluent in French, Lefevre has had the honor of co-starring alongside two of Canada’s biggest French stars, Patrick Huard and Michel Côté, in the French language film Omerta, a gritty, raw look at organized crime, in which she portrayed the sole female member of an undercover team trying to bring down the mafia.

An avid animal rights supporter, Lefevre has been a national spokesperson for Best Friends Animal Society since 2009.
