Travis Turner

Travis Turner transferred his love of watching movies to starring in them. With an acute talent for acting, Turner has landed parts in everything from theatre to short films to full-length motion pictures.

Turner's first break came when he landed a recurring role in "Caprica." He also got a part in the feature "Confined," alongside "Battlestar Galactica" star Michael Hogan.

In 2010, Turner kept busy as he filmed the independent feature "Easter Bunny Blood Bath," booked a commercial for Mattel Games and a role in Teletoon's "Tower Prep." He has also appeared on USA's "Fairly Legal" and the CW series "Supernatural." His biggest role was when he starred in "Marley and Me: The Puppy Years," the sequel to the popular feature film "Marley and Me" starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson.

Born in 1987 in British Columbia, Turner entertained loved ones so well he received his first nod when he was picked up by an agent in Vancouver. He took his love for performing from the living room to the stage by obtaining starring parts in Peter Pan, Lord of the Flies, A Midsummer's Night Dream and Mousetown. For his powerful performance as J-Rat in the latter, he received an award for outstanding male performance in a supporting role at the Alberta One Act Festival.

Since moving to Vancouver, Turner has appeared in more than 15 independent films, including the notable "Scars," "Henchin'" and "Snow Tramp," which audiences thoroughly enjoyed at various festivals, including the Tao New Mexico Mountain, New Zealand Mountain, Vancouver Internation MidForms, New Media Festival 2009, Made in Vancouver and the highly regarded Hollywood North Showcase.

When not on the big screen, little screen or stage, Turner can be found creating music, entertaining friends and family or watching movies.
