Hallmark Mystery debuts two mystery installments this Fall
The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death Is Listening, returns with a new installment, featuring Aimee Garcia and Paul Campbell. Meanwhile, Hallmark favorites, Alison Sweeney and Victor Webster return in A Sprinkle of Deceit: A Hannah Swensen Mystery.
The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death Is Listening premieres, Friday, September 13. As Birdie (Garcia) and Alden’s (Campbell) relationship progresses, they discover a mutual affinity for true crime. They soon find themselves at the center of a mysterious death where they must use their true-crime savvy to solve the murder. Starring Aimee Garcia and Paul Campbell
A Sprinkle of Deceit: A Hannah Swensen Mystery returns with its 5th installment on Friday, October 4. Hannah (Sweeney) caters Lonnie’s (Daylin Willis) high school reunion, which is disrupted by a fight between his old friend Darcy (Brittany Mitchell) and her boyfriend. Lonnie helps Darcy get home safely, but becomes implicated in her murder after she’s found dead the next morning. Hannah ultimately puts her own safety at risk while working with Chad (Webster) to clear Lonnie’s name. Starring Alison Sweeney, Victor Webster, Barbara Niven, Tess Atkins, Lisa Durupt, Daylin Willis, and Brittany Mitchell.

The Postables are Back on the Case
Production has begun on two new installments of Signed, Sealed, Delivered. Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson will all be back to reprise their roles as everyones’ favorite postal investigators: Oliver, Shane, Rita and Norman, respectively.
“The enduring support from our ‘Postable’ fans over the past 11 years has been our constant motivation and inspiration,” creator Martha Williamson enthused. “They have waited so long for another chapter in the lives of their beloved Dead Letter family, all the while continuing to keep the flame alive with podcasts, posts and even in-person gatherings throughout the country. There are no fans like SSD fans, and we are thrilled and humbled to continue this remarkable journey with them.”
Following a two-year hiatus, Hallmark Mystery is bringing the characters back to life starting with 2024's Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters. Oliver, Shane, Rita and Norman work on identifying the intended recipients of a trio of dead letters which have a surprising, personal impact on all of them. Meanwhile, after the honeymoon phase Oliver and Shane grapple with finding their footing as a married couple.
The second installment Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Back, will premiere is 2025. In this story, The Postables all face exciting life changes, their latest investigation takes them on a road trip to not only find the recipient of a lost letter, but to track down a rock star who holds the keys.

Victor Webster joins the cast of the Hannah Swensen Mystery Movie Franchise!
Alison Sweeney (“Love & Jane,” “Days of Our Lives”) returns as everyone’s favorite baker-turned amateur sleuth Hannah Swensen and reunites with her “The Wedding Veil” trilogy co-star Victor Webster for “One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery,” premiering on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Sweeney wrote the script, which is based on the novel "Apple Turnover Murder" by Joanne Fluke, and is executive producer on the movie.
Hannah Swensen has been asked to teach a baking class at the College in town, but her equipment is tampered with causing an explosion that the fire department rules an accident. Soon, a colleague ends up dead and Hannah begins to put together the puzzle of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the murder. Hannah leans on her friends and family to collect the breadcrumbs of foul play and put them together, and meets a different side of law and order when Lake Eden’s prosecuting attorney Chad Norton (Webster) enters her life.
“I’ve always loved working with Victor – from our years in daytime to our work together on ‘The Wedding Veil,” shared Sweeney. When writing the script and developing this movie, I knew he’d be a great addition to the Hannah Swensen family and am thrilled that he said yes.”

Sarah Drew will star in new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries drama, Guiding Emily
Hallmark star Sarah Drew will star in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Guiding Emily opposite Eric McCormack as the voice of her character’s guide dog.
Premiering Friday, September 8 at 9/8c to coincide with National Service Dog Month, Guiding Emily features Sarah Drew as the titular heroine, whose “life veers off course when she becomes permanently blind after an unfortunate rock-climbing accident and struggles to cope with her new reality. Meanwhile, a potential guide dog named Garth” — whose thoughts are voiced by McCormack — “is also struggling with his rigorous training. With the help of Emily’s friend Matthew, played by Antonio Cupo and Garth’s trainer Katie (Altered Carbon’s Sharon Taylor), both make headway in their important transitions. Through a series of missed encounters, both overcome their obstacles and Garth ends up being paired with Emily. With Garth by her side, Emily takes on her biggest challenge yet: opening her heart.”
“Shooting Guiding Emily was a deeply moving experience that allowed me to enter into the blind and partially sighted community in a very powerful way,” Sarah Drew said in a statement. “We were honored to have two actresses from the community play roles in the film, and sitting with them both and hearing their stories was transformative for me and for our crew.”
“I was also honored to visit the Guide Dogs of America open house the weekend before we started shooting and was able to tour the facility and learn all about the process for raising service dogs and the sacrifice puppy raisers make to train them for two years and then send them off to a member of the blind and partially sighted community to partner with them,” Drew added. “Guiding Emily walks the audience into this world in a moving, tender, educational and compassionate way. I hope the audience will be as affected by this film as we all were making it.”

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is thrilled to announce a new installment of the Hannah Swensen mystery movie series will be coming to the network!
They say real estate is a deadly serious business, but no one is more surprised than Hannah Swensen (Alison Sweeney) when her mother, Delores (Barbara Niven), discovers the dead body of a homeowner while house-hunting for her sister Michelle. Hannah is determined to get to the bottom of this mystery and while Mike (Cameron Mathison) and the Sheriff have a prime suspect, a little sleuthing by Hannah and her friend Norman (Gabriel Hogan) turn up some leftovers that convince Hannah all was not as it seemed at the victim’s home. If only she can prove who the dinner guest was, before she gets into too much trouble. Hannah must focus on the clues and save herself as the real killer closes in!

Filmed entirely on Malta, Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp's ballroom dance-centered mystery romance, The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango, will premiere on Friday, June 2 at 9/8c. In it, Chabert stars as Constance Bailey, a no-nonsense detective who prefers to work alone. When a high-profile CEO is murdered on the eve of his company’s corporate event in Malta – a high stakes ballroom competition between senior executives – Detective Bailey is sent undercover as one of the contestants. The only problem? She can’t dance. To convincingly compete, she must team up with charismatic and free-spirited performer Sebastian Moore, played by Will Kemp.
The film was co-developed by Will Kemp, who is an executive producer of the film, alongside Lacey Chabert.

Skyler Samuels will play young Aurora Teagarden and Evan Roderick will play young Arthur Smith. Marilu Henner, who played Aurora's mother, Aida Teagarden, in the franchise, is set to reprise her role.
Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Something New takes place during Aurora's (Samuels) post-college days when she finds herself back home in Lawrenceton. Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp waltz back in "The Dancing Detective: Deadly Tango"
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries reunites fan-favorites Lacey Chabert (“The Wedding Veil,” “Haul out the Holly”) and Will Kemp (“Jolly Good Christmas”) in an all-new mystery set in the competitive world of ballroom dance. Chabert and Kemp previously starred together for the network in 2020’s hit movie, “Christmas Waltz” and in 2019’s “Love, Romance & Chocolate.” Based on a story by Kemp and Aubrey Day, the movie is shooting entirely on location in Malta.
“After the success of ‘Christmas Waltz,’ viewers have been clamoring for another movie with this charismatic duo. Gabriel Hogan from the original cast also returns in this latest installment. Sweeney serves as executive producer.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will premiere a movie adaptation of the bestselling novel "Groundswell" by author Katie Lee Biegel!
The story follows an Atlanta chef named Emma who, on the heels of a personal and professional setback, travels to Hawaii where she meets a reclusive surf instructor named Ben whose lessons help her to regain her footing.
Katie Lee Biegel will serve as executive producer for the movie, and is also a popular show host on the Food Network. As an added treat, Katie will also make a cameo appearance! Look out for the premiere of "Groundswell" later this year on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

The First Mahogany Movie Premiere
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is excited to announce that production has started for the first original movie under the Mahogany banner. The all-new premiere is entitled “Unthinkably Good Things” and will star Karen Pittman, Joyful Drake, Erica Ash, Jermaine Love and Lance Gross. The film is being shot on location in Italy.
The movie centers around Allison (Pittman), at a crossroads in her career and love life, she is in need of the love and support of her two friends Melina (Drake) and Reesa (Ash). When they visit her in Tuscany, the reunion causes each woman to reexamine the state of her own life and relationships. While they have different personalities and perspectives, they know each other’s truths and help to make life- changing decisions. As their relationship shows signs of becoming something more, the suspect list rises. Will Goldy narrow in on the killer before the killer narrows in on her?

Coming this Spring!
Celebrity chef, bestselling author and Emmy-winning TV host Giada De Laurentiis is on board to executive producer the upcoming Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original movie, “Always Amore.” The film features Hallmark stars Autumn Reeser (The Wedding Veil Unveiled) and Tyler Hynes (An Unexpected Christmas) as well as co-star Patty McCormack.
The movie centers around Elizabeth (Reeser) who, with the support of her mother-in-law Nonna (McCormack), is doing everything she can to keep her late husband’s once acclaimed — but now struggling — Italian restaurant afloat. With business going downhill, she is forced to work with a professional restaurant consultant, Ben (Hynes), to see if they can turn things around. At first, Elizabeth resists the changes Ben believes will save the restaurant, but as they get closer, Elizabeth realizes that not all change is bad. She rediscovers her passion for baking and might even open her heart to new love.
"Always Amore," will premiere Spring 2022 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
