Josh Kelly was born in Yokosuka, Japan, to a Navy family. He was active in theater from a young age as he moved around the globe. After four tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army Ranger, Kelly moved to Los Angeles to return to his passion, acting.
Kelly is featured in a major story arc in the second season of the NBC series “Midnight Texas,” premiering October 26. He starred in the first three seasons of the hit series “UnREAL” opposite Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer. Among his other credits are the features Zero Dark Thirty, Jarhead 2: Field of Fire, Transformers 2 & 3 and Wolf Town; pilots “Songbyrd” and “Dumb Girls”; series including “Flash Forward,” “The Night Shift,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “True Blood” and “Dollhouse”; and television films including the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ original “Romance at Reindeer Lodge.”
Kelly currently lives in Los Angeles.
