Casey Sander is best known for his starring role as Wade Swoboda on the hit sitcom “Grace Under Fire” and his recurring role as Rock Lanagan, foreman of the K&B Boys on “Home Improvement.”

An Air Force brat, Sander was drafted by the California Angels when he was only 17. Beset with injuries, he left the minor leagues three years later to attend the University of Puget Sound on a football scholarship. While earning a B.A. in Communications, Sander caught the acting bug and, after spending a year as an English teacher and football coach, made the move to Hollywood to pursue his career.

From his first speaking role on television (“Yup. Over there.”), Sander has amassed a staggering amount of credits. Among his most recent guest-starring roles are “Malcolm in the Middle,” “JAG,” “Boston Public,” “Boomtown,” “George Lopez” and “Las Vegas.” His television movies include “Summer Dreams: The Story of the Beach Boys” (in which he played Mike Love), “Willing to Kill: The Texas Cheerleader Story,” “Rio Diablo,” “Hijacked: Flight 285,” “Dying to Be Perfect: The Ellen Hart Pena Story” and the Hallmark Channel Original movie “The Trail to Hope Rose.”

Sander is a single father of two teenagers and has raised millions of dollars for cancer research and the prevention of child abuse.
