Sheppard Denton is a musician and actor who was born in Los Angeles but spent his adolescence in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The children of acting parents (his mother, Erin O’Brien Denton is a personal trainer with an M.F.A. in theatre from N.Y.U, and his father is actor James Denton), Denton began acting in middle school productions and was a debate champion at the Stanford National Forensic Institute. He accidentally made his television debut at age four on “The Megan Mullally Show” with his father, but his first lead acting role was at age 13 in “For Love & Honor” on Hallmark Channel. A psychology student at The University of The South, Denton is primarily a musician, with a library of original solo music on Spotify, in which he plays guitars, bass, drums, keys, horns and performs the vocals. He also releases music with the band Sedona.
