Mark Ghanimé was born in Canada to a Lebanese father and Canadian mother and grew up in Montreal speaking English, French and Arabic. It was during a background stint on a Juliette Lewis movie that he decided to immerse himself in the world of acting. Ghanimé can be seen on Netflix’s “Virgin River” as of season four, as the newes doctor, Dr. Cameron Hayek, a Lebanese American physician who leaves the hustle of city emergency medicine behind to join a smalltown medical practice. Ghanimé comes to Virgin River to help the ailing Doc Mullins and falls in love with the town. Ghanimé has guest starred on many hit series such as “The Bold Type,” “Arrow,” “Izombie,” “Private Eyes,” “Reign,” “Wynonna Earp,” “Slasher,”
“Wedding Planners” and “Emily Owens M.D.” Ghanimé was a series regular on Syfy’s series “Helix” as Sergio Balleseros. Recently he’s played leading roles on such television movies as “Listen out for Love,” “Christmas in Big Sky Country” and “Hunting Housewives.”
