Erica Ash is an award-winning stage, film and television actress. Her entertainment path began on stage with Broadway productions including The Lion King, starring as Nala, Spamalot, starring as Lady of the Lake, and the original Broadway cast of Baby it’s You, as Addie “Micki” Harris and Dionne Warwick, for which she won an NAACP Theater Award for Best Supporting Actress.

In the television and film world, she is most notably known for her standout leading roles as Maya in Lionsgate’s Uncle Drew and M-Chuck Calloway in the Starz comedy “Survivor’s Remorse,” for which she was nominated Best Supporting Actress at the NAACP Image Awards. Her highly anticipated upcoming film, We Have a Ghost, starring David Harbour, Anthony Mackie and Jennifer Coolidge, will be released on Netflix later this year. In addition, the comedy western The Outlaw Johnny Black in which Ash stars opposite Michael Jai White and Anika Noni Rose will be released this year. She is currently filming the sophomore season of the Paramount+ series “Sacrifice” opposite Paula Patton.

Her credit highlights include the starring role of Gwen Sullivan in BET’s legal drama “In Contempt,” recurring guest star roles on HBO’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show,” Netflix’s “Family Reunion,” Kevin Hart’s hit series “The Real Husbands of Hollywood” and Justine Bateman’s Violet which had its premiere at SXSW this year. She can also be seen recurring on season two of The CW’s “Legacies.”

Erica Ash is the creator/writer of the comedic advice blog “The Deviled Angel” and writes and produces sketch comedy for The Deviled Angel Network. She was also a cast member and contributing writer on Fox’s MADtv, Season 14.
