Erica Cerra made her Hallmark Mystery debut in “Mystery on Mistletoe Lane,” and has become known for her versatility, charm, and beauty through every character she tackles. Cerra is in the latest iteration of the family favorite “Diary of A Wimpy Kid,” voicing the role of Susan (the titular character’s mother) in the most recent successful trilogy of adaptations. She also was a regular on the Sci-Fi series “Astronauts,” produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer through Imagine TV, and recurred throughout the CW’s “Nancy Drew” and Entertainment One’s “Family Law,” opposite Victor Garber. Her credits include recurring and regular roles across dozens of television shows including CW’s “The 100” and “Supernatural,” USA’s “Rush,” Fox/Netflix’s “Lucifer,” Sci-Fi’s “Deadly Class” and Showtime’s “The L Word,” among others. Fans really began to take notice of her as “Jo Lupo” on the hit SyFy series “Eureka” which ran for six years. In addition to television, Cerra is making her mark in film as well, appearing in Lionsgate’s “Power Rangers” and Fox’s “Percy Jackson & The Olympians.”

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Cerra realized she wanted to be an actress at a very young age. By the age of six, she began taking acting classes. As a child, Cerra was placed with one of the very first talent agencies to spring up in Vancouver and started acting in commercials. From commercials Cerra easily transitioned into television and as a tween worked on her first project, an improv children’s show called “The Kidzone” on The Knowledge Network. After “Kidzone,” she landed the pilot for “No Adults Allowed” with a handful of up and comers. By the time she was 22, Cerra decided to dedicate herself fully to acting, and trained with Gina Chiarelli, Matthew Harrison and Larry Moss.

In addition to acting, Cerra loves to cook, loves gardening, and is a mother to two wonderful kids. She currently resides in Vancouver with her husband and children.
