Pooch Hall is best known for his portrayal of Daryll Donovan, Ray’s (Liev Schreiber) younger half-brother and professional boxer, in Showtime’s critically-acclaimed series “Ray Donovan.” Prior to “Ray Donovan,” Hall grew to fame starring as the iconic Derwin Davis, a new and eager wide receiver for the San Diego Sabers, in nine seasons of the The CW/BET series “The Game.”

Additionally, in television, Hall worked with Jenna Elfman on the CBS primetime series “Accidentally on Purpose” and had recurring roles on USA’s “Suits” and “Warehouse 13” for Syfy. Other notable television credits include: “Criminal Minds” (CBS), “Necessary Roughness” (USA), and “Royal Pains” (USA).

Hall began his career in New York where he landed a small role in the independent feature film Lift, opposite Kerry Washington. He went on to starring and supporting roles in the independent films Black Cloud and Blind Dating with Chris Pine for director James Keach; and larger studio films like Dreamworks’ A Dog’s Purpose directed by Lasse Hallström, the biopic Chuck, where he played iconic boxer Muhammed Ali, and the hit film Jumping the Broom with Angela Bassett and Paula Patton. Other recent credits include the crime-drama feature Cherry from directors Joe and Anthony Russo, opposite Tom Holland and Ray Donovan: The Movie, directed by showrunner David Hollander, which marks the conclusion of the popular series after seven seasons.
