Elizabeth Berkley is an accomplished actress who has appeared on television, in film and on Broadway. She recently had a recurring role on CBS' "CSI: Miami" for two seasons. Additional roles on television include the part of Kelly Wentworth for Showtime's "The L Word" and recurring roles in "Titus" and "NYPD Blue." Berkley is still recognized for her starring role on the teen hit comedy "Saved by the Bell."
In film, Berkley has numerous credits including roles in "Roger Dodger," "First Wives Club," Oliver Stone s "Any Given Sunday" and Woody Allen's "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion." On stage, Berkley was seen on Broadway alongside Richard Dreyfuss in "Sly Fox" and in the West End in "Lenny" directed by Sir Peter Hall.
In addition to acting Elizabeth works with teen girls through Ask Elizabeth, her not-for-profit organization that includes self-esteem workshops that have translated into a nationwide movement. This journey has inspired "Ask Elizabeth," Berkley's first book for teen girls. She was a featured contributor for Oprah.com, bridging the communications gap between mothers and daughters.
Elizabeth is married to artist Greg Lauren. They divide their time between New York and Los Angeles.
