Andrew W. Walker started his acting career in Montreal as a recurring lead on the series “Student Bodies” from 1996-1997, and then was cast as a series lead on “Back to Sherwood” and “Radio Active.” Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, he was cast as a series lead on The WB’s “Maybe it’s Me” and later “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.” Walker then appeared in the Lifetime movies “Wicked Minds” and “Lies and Deception” and later the ABC show “Hot Properties.”
Walker was a series lead on the Lifetime series “Against the Wall” and guest starred on hit TV shows, including “ER,” “CSI: Miami,” “CSI: New York,” “Without a Trace,” “Big Bang Theory,” and the Hallmark Channel series “When Calls the Heart.”
Walker won the Borsos Award at the Whistler Film Festival for his performance in the feature film Steel Toes alongside Academy Award nominee David Strathairn. Recent feature film credits include the lead in Loaded and Penthouse North opposite Michelle Monaghan and Michael Keaton as well as a supporting role in the TV film “Wedding Planner Mystery.” He also starred as the lead in eight recent Hallmark movies, including “The Perfect Catch,” “Love on Ice” and “A Dream of Christmas.” He can next be seen starring in the Harold Cronk (God’s Not Dead) feature God Bless the Broken Road.
